Elton John commences his US and European Tour with a concert this Friday, November 8th in Bridgeport, Ct. at the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.

As I prepare the music of our heart to more fully appreciate one of our greatest music legends I turn first to his latest recording, The Diving BoardThe album was written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin and produced in Los Angeles by producer T-Bone Burnett.

Sir Elton John Is Coming To Our Back Yard

The Webster Bank Arena announced this morning that Sir Elton John will be performing “All The Hits” live in concert on Friday November 8th, 2013 in Bridgeport, Ct. Tickets go on sale Friday September 27th at 10:00 AM via Ticketmaster.

The concert will be Sir Elton’s first area show since a historic two-night, sold out stand at the arena in April 2004. One of his earliest American shows, on Nov. 22, 1970, was also held in the Park City, at the University of Bridgeport.

Five days before they first played Bridgeport, they played a live radio broadcast at A&R Studios in New York, which was later released in 1971 as the 11-17-70 album.

Elton John will be supporting on this tour his new album, “The Diving Board,” which is due to be released on September 24th. The album will be his 30th release.
