Annie Lennox: Nostalgia Live in Concert

Hopefully you saw the 2015 Grammy Awards because Annie Lennox had the best performance of the evening. She collaborated with Hozier on the medley, “Take Me To Church/I Put A Spell On You”. She rocked the house.

For New York City area viewers, Annie Lennox: Nostalgia Live in Concert, featuring Great American Songbook classics from her Grammy-nominated album Nostalgia, will air on Channel THIRTEEN’s Great Performances on April 3, at 10 p.m. on PBS. Rock Music Photographers, A-Z, Andy Earl

I find Andy Earl‘s photography arrestingly intriguing. Take a look at his feature on the Apple Web site Pro/Photo section.

His work is diverse, often incorporating dramatic natural backdrops and architectural elements to create a surrealistic effect.

The Bow Wow Wow, See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang, Yeah. City All Over! Go Ape Crazy cover photograph was a controversial image due to the fact the lead singer Annabella Lwin, portrayed naked, was only 14 and did not have her mother’s signed permission to be photographed. Malcolm McLaren (Manager for the Sex Pistols and Bow Wow Wow) commissioned Andy Earl to conduct this photo session.

I truly love this black and white of the soulful diva, Annie Lennox.

Andy Earl captured Johnny Cash on the country plains for the cover of the American Recordings album.
