Music is my passion and my salvation.
Ed Jennings is a life long music fan. Ed’s sobriquet is Edje. Ed majored in business and minored in music at the University of New Haven. He developed a deep interest in world music and yearned to be an ethnomusicologist when he graduated. But that was not economically feasible.
He was a disk jockey at WNHU-FM 88.7 (University of New Haven – 1973-1974) and WVOF-FM 88.5 (Fairfield University – 1975-1978).
Ed is a free-lance music writer who has written for the New Haven Advocate and The Entertainer magazine.
Ed has attended 500+ concerts in 48 years. He has a strong appreciation for a variety of music genres. He believes the live music art form is a very liberating experience and that everyone should experience live music performances.
Ed was a technology instructor in the computer networking management career track at Branford Hall Career Institute in Southington, CT for 15 years.
He achieved a Master’s Degree in Education focused on Instructional Design for Online Learning at Capella University online in 2011.
Ed resides in Milford, CT, with his wife Rosemary. Their son, Matthew, resides in the East Village in New York City.
I have published an earlier blog at http://theconcertslut.wordpress.com
Next time you see Nate Chinen, please thank him for his review of Nude Beach. I know a little too much about playing in “a throwback bar band in a scene more accustomed to rewarding the stylish and self-conscious.” http://www.reverbnation.com/elvetvelvis

I would suggest one thing: you could indicate our blog, or add it as a partner? We would do the same with your blog. Thus, we would have more hits!
Thank you,
I look forward to returning.
