Cheap Trick is one of those bands that I have taken decades to fully appreciate. I recall when their album, Cheap Trick At Budokan was a huge bestseller for Epic Records in 1978. I was managing a Books and Records Department at Caldor, Inc. a discount department store chain back then. I couldn’t keep that vinyl album in stock. It just flew off the shelves.

I’ve yet to see them perform in concert live. I am giving thought to catching them when they play with Peter Frampton at Foxwoods this August.
