I bought the 12″ single, “Punky Reggae Party” by Bob Marley as an import on the Tuff Gong label. I was managing a record department at Caldors in Stamford, Ct in those days. I could not secure this import single through any of my record distributors. I ended up buying it from the Jamaican Record Store in Stamford which I loved to frequent during lunch time 😉
It is an infectious song that I love to play extensively. Give it a spin on YouTube or Spotify.
