Music has taken me to so many different places with its unique tapestry of sounds, artists and interpretations. One music genre I continually come home to is classic rock. I cut my teeth on classic rock music.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is an icon of classic rock, southern rock style. The song “Free Bird” is an American rock standard. They are celebrating their 35 anniversary as a group this year. They have been touring relentlessly, preserving the name and tradition of their signature southern rock sound.
They have come through the gates of hell and have worked very hard to earn their latest success. Their new album, Last Of A Dyin Breed is their highest charting studio album since 1977’s Street Survivors
