Rock Art Poster Fair – The Museum at Bethel Woods, Center for the Arts

The Rock Poster SocietyI am a member of the rock poster society, I love being a music poster collector. I noticed on their Web site that there is going to be a rock poster event taking place at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, at the end of this month. The museum has curated a special exhibit for rock music fans.

Bethel Woods Rock Art Poster Fair - April 28-29, 2012
On the weekend of April 28 & 29 there will be a Rock Art Poster Fair with lots of related, special events. We are thinking of attending the lecture and  poster signing event on the 28th.

  1. Thanks for the shout-out for the Poster Fair and Byrd/Skolnick: A Tale of Two Posters. Both the event and the exhibition are worth notice, and we appreciate the promo. Just one correction that may affect those who want to attend — The Museum at Bethel Woods should NOT be confused with the museum that is named “The Woodstock Museum.” That museum is actually located in the village of Woodstock (or near, at least) and IS NOT US. We are located an hour and a half southwest of Woodstock, at the actual location of the 1969 Woodstock festival, which took place in Bethel, Sullivan County, New York. The Museum at Bethel Woods has a world-class, multi-media permanent exhibition about The Sixties and Woodstock, and the special exhibition, Byrd/Skolnick is here. If you go to “The Woodstock Museum,” you will be 70 miles away from us. That said, I hope everyone can come see the exhibition and enjoy the Rock Poster Fair at the site of the Woodstock festival in Bethel, New York.
